The Victorian Government seeks a project officer to support planning and delivery of the $13 million Shrine to Sea (S2S) project.

The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning is looking for a mid-level architect/ landscape architect/ urban designer to support the development of the masterplan for this exciting State Government Project.

The Project Officer – Design will support planning and delivery of the Victorian Government’s $13 million Shrine to Sea (S2S) project, a walking and cycling boulevard for Melbourne connecting the Domain Gardens to Port Phillip Bay.  The project will create safer, better connected walking and cycling paths, enhanced amenity and celebrate local culture and history through the precinct.

The successful candidate will work with the Senior Project Officer and project partners to support preparation of a masterplan and urban design solutions for the project. Experience in community engagement and developing place-based masterplans, including transport components, is essential. The position will require excellent sketching, CAD and 3D skills, and high proficiency in Adobe CC (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop).

Starting September 2020.
10-month contract (through agency) with potential to extend.
