Alysia Bennett

<p>Alysia is a graduate of architecture, researcher and lecturer at Monash University and is also associated with Cumulus Studio and Parlour's WikiD Australia initiative.</p> <p>Over the past decade, Alysia has undertaken a diverse range of architectural research and consulting roles within the public and private sectors. Previous positions include Research Assistant at the University of Tasmania, Architectural Research Assistant for the Office of the State Architect Tasmania and National Online Communications Co-ordinator at BVN.</p> <p>Having recently completed a doctorate at Monash University, her research, design studios and publications focus on the negotiation of the barriers to realising holistically sustainable medium density housing and the facilitation of strategic planning objectives. She is an active member of the Australian Institute of Architects, having held roles on local and national committees, including a term as the president of SONA.</p>
