Principal Design and Research
Government Architect NSW

I am a NSW Registered Architect, and Principal of Design and Research Government Architect NSW (GANSW). In my current role, I explore the role and value of design in the built environment and support the development of strategic priorities for GANSW. I have championed research on place and design quality, healthy built environments, and integrated design processes, and supported the delivery of much of the organisation’s policy and guidance.
Prior to joining GANSW, I practiced in Sydney and New York, where I worked on large public, transport and retail projects. I graduated with a B.Architecture from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) in 2006, and the Advanced Architectural Design at Columbia University’s GSAPP, New York in 2010. At the culmination of the course, I was awarded the Lucille Smyser Lowenfish Memorial Prize for the best final semester design project; and, the Honor Award for Excellence in Design.
Prior was recipient of the Marten Bequest Travelling Scholarship for Architecture (2009-2010) and the 2010 Dyason Bequest Art Travelling Scholarship. I have taught as a casual academic for UTS in architectural design, and I was contributing editor for AR Asia Pacific 2012-2015.
