I have an honest, compassionate and practical approach to architecture that has taken my career on a unique journey and led me to my current role as an architect for healthcare specialists STH.

The past five years have seen me move to Rome, Italy, to work on United Nations projects in Afghanistan, South Sudan and Uganda, collaborate on a disaster relief research project in Japan, build a house with Habitat for Humanity in Cambodia and work on a range of projects across QLD, NSW, VIC and TAS.

I am a co-founder of the STH Research Collective and GBCA Future Green Leader. My main interests in research lie in evidence-based design and the intersection of health, wellbeing, culture and design. During my Master's degree, I undertook an independent thesis titled "Domesticating the Institution" which studied the impact of design on the experiences of patients, their families and staff in healthcare facilities, focusing particularly on the typology of children's hospices. I am currently undertaking a study on safe workplace design in hospitals, focusing on the mental health and wellbeing of doctors and nurses. This has created a Mise en abyme in my research as I look at the current situation amongst architects and architecture students.
