Stephanie McLeish

<p>Stephanie studied architecture in Brisbane and Stockholm before graduating with a Masters of Architecture in 2014. Stephanie is experienced in a range of projects, from bespoke residential, educational facilities, retail and commercial projects and has an extensive knowledge of design for equitable access.<br /> Throughout her studies, Stephanie travelled extensively to Europe, Japan and the Solomon Islands, participating in volunteer aid programs, study tours and design workshops. She lived in London for an extended period and worked in the multi award winning practice Sheppard Robson, where she was involved in a number of large scale, complex commercial projects.<br /> Stephanie has a passion for socially responsible and humanitarian architecture and completed her post graduate research in indigenous housing co-operatives. Stephanie has provided pro-bono architectural drafting services to Emergency Architects and actively seeks volunteer projects within aid agencies where her architectural skillset is invaluable. </p> <p>Outside the daily practice of architecture, Stephanie is a current candidate for Emerging Voices, a leadership and community engagement program designed in collaboration between Queensland Council of Social Service and The Premier’s Office.</p>
