ARM Architecture

I am interested in what defines public architecture. I’ve worked across many typologies including multi-residential, masterplanning, town centres, commercial and retail developments, urban renewal and a stadium. And in my experience, all architecture, no matter public or private, has an important civic duty to its surrounds and city.

Architecture is inescapable. It forms part of our daily lives and therefore needs to transcend the background white noise so it can engage and challenge the political, cultural and social facets of our contemporary society.

Throughout my career as an architect, I am striving to engage public presence within any project I undertake. I also form part of the ARM RMIT Studio, teaching students design thinking towards how architecture can be liberated through its engagement with society.
