Amy is a tenacious architect, a nimble thinker and exudes passion for design. She is a registered architect working in Adelaide in the residential and small-scale commercial sector. She is involved locally with the EMaGN networks promoting and connecting young architects to industry and volunteers regularly with the AIA. Additionally, she is active in the academic sector tutoring regularly at the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia. She also has been a guest lecturer at UniSA. Most of her time, however, is acting as the co-director and founder of Studio AKA, a bespoke residential architectural practice.
Studio AKA is a women-led studio passionate about holistic design. Co-founder's Amy Grundy and Katherine Dujmovic utilise a multidisciplinary approach to meet client needs, desires and aspirations in aesthetic design and functionality. Both inside and out. Believing architectural design should feel as one, designing with elegance and simplicity resulting in timeless architecture.
