<p>Caroline Kite is a registered architect in NSW. Prior to her current role with Bellevarde Constructions, she worked with several practices including Allen Jack+Cottier as a Senior Architect.</p> <p>Caroline has an interest in detail and materiality and has particular experience in bespoke residential projects, public and community buildings. She has a strong belief that good design and architecture should be accessible to all and can positively impact people's lives. Caroline most enjoys the dynamic environment of a construction site, where there is a focus on building strong relationships with the project team, working through details and being immersed in the process of making.</p> <p>Caroline's interest for humanitarian architecture led her to work with The Anganwadi Project to live and work in Ahmedabad, India on projects within the local slum communities. She has continued her involvement as a board member for the organisation.</p> <p>Caroline has been a sessional tutor at UNSW and held talks and exhibitions at the Institute of Architects and Sydney Architecture Festival. She is a supporter of gender equity, especially in architecture and construction, and is looking forward to involving herself more in the Parlour community. </p>
