Watch LAB 08 Building Resilience: designing for disasters, with Temitope Egbelakin and Rosemary Kennedy in discussion with Kali Marnane and Rebecca McLaughlan.
LAB 08 turns our attention to the need to develop more resilient practices, which respond to the realities of our finite planet. Our speakers are architect and researcher, Rosemary Kennedy and Temitope Egbelakin, Associate Professor at the University of Newcastle.
Temitope and Rosemary begin with short presentations on their work before joining Kali Marnane and Rebecca McLaughlan for a discussion around what it means for the built environment to be resilient, and how the role of the architect can adapt to support this.
