Researchers at the University of Melbourne seek participants for a survey on the impact of COVID-19 on residents of share houses in Victoria.
Members of share houses are more likely to be young, casually employed, in overcrowded or informal housing arrangements and at risk of homelessness than the general population. There is also lots of anecdotal evidence that share houses are forming and dissolving rapidly in response to COVID-19.
The researchers want to understand what is happening to this group of people during these turbulent times. The survey investigates financial and health outcomes, experiences of rental negotiations, changing household compositions and access to support.
If you have lived in a share house in 2020, complete this survey by 18 June and you’ll be in the draw to win 1 of 5 x $100 vouchers.
