Please join Parlour and AWS as we head online for our second Zoom Salon, with Loata Ho and Kali Marnane on Thursday 2 July.

It’s still going to be a while before we can meet face-to-face, but we are keen to maintain, support and connect the Parlour community. Shifting online also gives us the chance to host new conversations across states, and possibly internationally.

Following the success of our first Zoom conversation, Loata Ho and Kali Marnane are joining us for our online Winter Salon. Loata is an architect and researcher of iTaukei (Indigenous Fijian) descent. Currently a PhD candidate at the University of Canberra, her research focuses on the intersection of architecture with women’s cultural knowledge. Kali is an architect and doctoral candidate currently based in Brisbane, passionate about understanding and making equitable places that sustain communities socially, culturally, environmentally and economically, with a particular focus on public space.

We will run the networking component of the event via online breakout rooms, so you will still have the opportunity to meet and swap stories and strategies. Let’s get together across Australia – and we hope some of our international community might be able to join us too.

7–9pm Australian Eastern Standard Time, Thursday 2 July 2020

Online. Join from anywhere. You will be sent the login details after you book.

Everyone! Emerging or established, practitioner or those active in architecture and the built environment in other ways, people of all genders, we hope all will join us. We particularly encourage people to make new connections with women at different stages of their careers.

Please book below – the Salon is free, but bookings are limited.
