Please join Parlour and AWS as we head online for our first Zoom Salon, with Jocelyn Chiew and Josephine MacLeod on Thursday 4 June.

It’s still going to be a while before we can meet face-to-face, but we are keen to maintain, support and connect the Parlour community. Shifting online also gives us the chance to host new conversations across states, and possibly internationally.

Josephine MacLeod and Jocelyn Chiew are joining us for the first Zoom conversation. Jocelyn is an architect, landscape architect and urban designer and is currently Director, City Design Studio at the City of Melbourne. Josephine is an architect and Principal Advisor – Architecture & Urban Design and the Office of the Queensland Government Architect.

We will run the networking component of the event via online breakout rooms, so you will still have the opportunity to meet and swap stories and strategies. Let’s get together across Australia – and we hope some of our international community might be able to join us too.

7–9pm Australian Eastern Standard Time, Thursday 4 June 2020

Online. Join from anywhere. You will be sent the login details after you book.

Everyone! Emerging or established, practitioner or those active in architecture and the built environment in other ways, people of all genders, we hope all will join us. We particularly encourage people to make new connections with women at different stages of their careers.

Please book here – the Salon is free, but bookings are limited.

Thanks to Alison McFadyen and Emma Healy for getting our first online salon underway!
