Other Architects
<p>Grace is an architect and curator. She is part of internationally recognised architectural practice Other Architects, along with its speculative offshoot organisation Otherothers. </p> <p>Working at a range of scales and across residential, commercial and institutional projects, Other Architects seeks out 'other' approaches that challenge conventional wisdom and popular opinion and architectural trends. Otherothers is a design organisation that engages in research, communication, competitions, curation, events, exhibitions, installations, operating beyond the scale of conventional architectural practice. </p> <p>In 2016 Grace co-curated Occupied at the RMIT Design Hub with David Neustein and Fleur Watson. The exhibition explored the possibilities of architecture in the near future and has been nominated for a Victorian Premier's Design Award.<br /> In 2015 Otherothers was the the lone Australian practice selected to participate in the inaugural Chicago Architecture Biennial. Offset House was critically acclaimed and featured in numerous international and local publications including the Wall Street Journal.<br /> Grace teaches at the University of Technology in Sydney and has previously taught at the University of Sydney. </p>
