Greta Stoutjesdijk

Senior Architect
Candalepas Associates

Greta lives and works on Wurundjeri Country, and is a senior architect with Candalepas Associates in Melbourne/Naarm. She has a passion for arts, culture, and civic spaces believing that these projects can be a contributor to the lifeblood of communities and a key to enriching urban fabric, public experiences, and creating more inclusive spaces.

Aotearoa-New Zealand educated, Greta has extensive experience in a wide range of sectors and complex projects, including large-scale commercial, arts & culture, and temporary installations. She is currently working on the NGV Contemporary, and its connection to the public realm and urban interface.

Within the architectural profession and beyond, Greta has a passion for gender equity and co-founded the grassroots Women In_Design group in her former workplace. That has led her to further pursue equity in the profession and now serves on the AIA National Committee for Gender Equity.

In addition to architecture, Greta loves activities that happen to start with ‘p’; pies, printmaking, and photography.
