Please join Parlour for the Melbourne launch of Marion’s List, a new public register for the women of Australian architecture and the built environment.

Marion’s List is a space to be seen. It aims to broaden the image of what an architect looks like and does, and introduce the myriad women active in Australian architecture and the built environment.

Marion’s List is a resource for those looking for expert commentary or input or wanting to involve a wider range of people in architecture’s public culture – talks, panels, juries, teaching, crits and much more. We need never again hear, “We asked a woman, but she wasn’t available”.

Come along to the M Pavilion and hear guest speaker Amy Mullins, director of the Women’s Leadership Institute of Australia, and Parlour’s Dr Karen Burns on why Marion’s List matters and the importance of women participating in the public culture of architecture.

When 6.30pm–8.30pm, Thursday 1 December, 2016

Where M Pavilion, Queen Victoria Gardens (opposite the Arts Centre on St Kilda Road), Melbourne.

Please help us celebrate the arrival of this important resource and the close of another successful year for Parlour. All welcome.

There’s no need to book – just come along on the day.
